Car
Road communications have been greatly facilitated in recent years, due to the construction of modern motorways and motorways that take us directly to the Mar Menor from any point in Spain.
- From Madrid
It takes place via the Madrid-Valencia A-3 motorway, turning towards Albacete at the height of Honrrubia, N-301, recently built motorway that takes us directly to Murcia . We continue along this motorway to Cartagena, or we will take a detour down the Puerto de la Cadena towards San Javier by the Mar Menor motorway C-3319.
- From Barcelona
Across the motorway From the Mediterranean A-7, along the Mediterranean coast. Once past Elche, take the exit of the A-7 to San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena.
- From the central and northern areas of the península
Go to Madrid, and then follow the path aforesaid. Alternatively, from Zaragoza take the N-330 to Teruel, take the N-234 to Valencia, and from here the A-7 to the Mar Menor.
- From Andalusia
To Por- 92 until joining the N-301 towards Cartagena. At the end of the Port of Cadena take San Javier direction by the Mar Menor Highway C-3319.
Train
The Balsicas-Mar Menor station, located just 10 km away, offers the possibility of reaching San Javier by train. With daily departures from Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Montpellier.
Airplane
In the hamlet of Santiago de la Ribera is the Murcia-San Javier airport. Managed by AENA, and with flights from the main companies (including the low cost ones), it offers daily direct flights from the main European capitals.
