The arrival of the ramblas with water collected in the high areas forced to cut several flooded streets in the municipality

The effects of the avenue of the ramblas that lead to the municipality of San Javier, after the intense rains fallen last night in the region, have caused the closure of several streets and roads in El Mirador, San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera for several hours this morning. The flooding of part of the San railcar Javier-Murcia, by the ravine coming from San Cayetano forced Cut the San Javier Murcia sense, which was reopened midmorning. In El Mirador, the highest area of the municipality that collects first waters of the ramblas, three roads that were open, about 11: 30h once evacuated the ramblas in the direction to San Javier,



The Rambla de Cobatillas, upon arrival in San Javier along the riverbed parallel to Jabalina Street forced to cut the access to the area of the Sports Center through the streets Quevedo, Alcántara and Maestre, like the Spanish Aviation avenue, crossing Cuatro Picos, and streets Cape Roche and Huertas. Finally the arrival of water from the San Cayetano rambla to the urban nucleus forced to prevent the traffic on Ramón y Cajal street, in the South of San Javier. The situation did not endanger the citizens although the councilor of Security, Teresa Foncuberta asked prudence at the time to circulate through the streets affected by the ramblas.
