Groups from Murcia, Galicia and Serbia will participate in the XXX International Folklore Festival of San Javier

He XXX International Folklore Festival of San Javier will be held from June 21 to 24 with two official galas, a regional on Friday June 21 and another national and international on Saturday 22 June, with groups from the Region of Murcia, Galicia and Serbia. He program will be completed with a folkloric exhibition on Sunday 24 in the Barnuevo esplanade, and the opening of a sculpture in the avenue Neptuno, on Thursday 21, dedicated to the local group "Choirs and Dances Mar Menor "on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The festival has the collaboration of the Federation of Peñas Huertanas that will install an Huertano ethnic enclosure that can be visited all the days of the Festival in the Plaza de España, which is repeated as the venue outdoors of the event.



He Councilor for Culture, David Martínez accompanied by the mayor of Celebrations, Pedro López and the president of the Coros y Danzas Mar group Minor, Antonio Pérez Avilés, presented this morning at the Museum of San Javier the program that includes the folk group "Villa de Alhama "and the peña huertana" El Ciazo ", of Torreagüera that will perform at the gala on Friday 21 dedicated to regional folklore together with the local group "Mar Menor Choirs and Dances". Galicia will be the Autonomous community invited with the group "Rosalía de Castro" that will take part in the gala on Saturday 22 June with the group of Serbia "Hajduk Stanko-Sabac". Folklore will also come closer to the sea on Sunday, June 24 with an exhibition of the Serbian group together with the group "Mar Menor Choirs and Dances" at 12 o'clock in the Esplanade Barnuevo, Santiago de la Ribera.
